Dear Parents and Guardians:
On September 7, 2021, the District was notified that a staff member had tested positive for COVID-19. On September 8, 2021, the District was notified that a student had tested positive for COVID-19. For any students or staff at risk of exposure, the Sanders County Health Department has been in contact with those persons to determine a safe and appropriate course of action. It is recommended that any person who feels ill seek out their medical provider for specific instructions. Hot Springs School District 14-J is in ongoing contact with the Sanders County Health Department and reviews the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidance to ensure a safe environment for our students and staff. School officials will continue to monitor health-related events in the District and will provide prompt information when such occur. There are no new cases as of this morning, 9/9/2021.
